My floors, window form and dining set are orangy brown. The sideboard and hutch are both darker, both I cannot replace. I am feeling like to slipcover chairs, and paint any color.
Answers:    try this color for the walls: "Softened Green" Sherwin Williams. its a subtle sage. The chairs would look fantastic upholstered in a silvery grey satin, or I don`t know stripes of alternating gray and silver. these are subtle, earthy, elegant colors that can set off and unite the different wood finishes.....possibly you could make a form cushion for the window form upholstered same as the chairs?
I had equal issue, and found that a deep burgandy go brilliantly with the dark wood grains, and cream near the lighter wood grains, but it does come down to nouns.... anything goes, purely go beside your colour tastes..
