We are building a house, and I am trying to decide between white or wood. I approaching the idea of white cabinet, black granite counter tops and a sage-y green wall, but I have hear lots of negative feedback on have white cabinets. Also, I would do brown cabinet with cream-ish granite tops. I really of late want something that will best stand the test of time and style. What do you presume?
Answers:    I'd go near the white, it will be much easier at a future date to swing your wall color and still compliment the white cabinets.
If you plan on have hardwood floors, white cabinets will look much better ,as wood cabinet tend to look chaotic except matched very closely to the hardwood color.
White cabinet and black granite will look terrific, very classy and never budge out of style. And both black and white will go near any color scheme you want.
For durability, own you considered getting your cabinets contained by a white melamine factory-finish? Its a much nicer finish than you could manage near a paint brush.
Oh, I don't think you want painted white. They will transfer colors and be hard to run care of. I still resembling oak or cherry cabinets.
