Answers: Well, that's really up to you. Like neutrals do the texture/woven contained by a light sunburn, everything goes near wood look, bamboo look. Why wallpaper everything? Use it above a bench rail, split the wall beside a nice beadboard below, or paint a nice plum or warm orangey red or choc brown up and wallpaper below. All paint and decorate stores keep the most "current" and can really be your best source for the "in" or most hip colors.
Wallpaper is pricey and easier said than done to remove, have you considered sculpture techniques, they mimic like mad of patterns within paper and can be repainted over surrounded by a year or two, if you redecorate a lot.
