The carpet does not in general come with an underlie, its normally a mat that will Not last copious years. I'd recommend you speak to them and ask what they are providing. If they are providing a felt pay for carpet throughout, ask if you can hold underlay if you wage a bit more. The underlay will ensure the runner will last at lowest possible 40% longer, showing less signs of wear, and providing a more luxurious underfoot comfort. The second thing you want to be doing is replacing the carpet a year after moving in. Its false reduction. Buy the underlay (9 mm sticky is recommended).
