I want a warm sensation when I enter my apartment. I need curtains and a rug, but I dont know what color task would be best. I also cant paint the walls. Any inexpensive decorating tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!

Answers:    I enjoy a brown couch, bought intentionally because if God forbid somebody spills on it, any leftover stain won't be see. I have done the walls contained by a deep cream (I feel the color is "Bamboo") and the wall to wall carpet is burgundy.

Since you hold an apartment, though, and you don't own it, you might want to stay in more dull colors. Burgundy then can be used as candle accent or throw pillows, rather than investing surrounded by a rug your landlord might come to an end up ripping out when you leave. You could run with a burgundy curtain perchance with a manila or gold articulation. It gives a incredibly rich, warm look.

Edit to give: I do have to allow that the burgundy carpet requires frequent vacuuming, because it will show every speck of lint, but again, stains don't show. I would a bit do daily repairs than live with an unsightly stain if somebody in the house is unwary.

i would go for burgundys pillows curtains incorporate some color maybe a rug next to some of the same colors basically an 8x10 to go beneath the couches and coffee table that would look nice something along the reds line would be nice heat up colors.
