We have a pretty tub rug, but only solid color towels to coordinate, so we're thinking of sculpture the pattern of our tub rug on the wall.

It would only be roughly speaking 12-18" tall, along the top of any one or two walls. We'd also have to be within the shower for part of the fine art process if we painted directly onto the wall.
Is there a style to buy plain white wallpaper and paint on that? Or buy really thin wood and paint that and of late hang that?
The wall is smooth, not textured.
Also, we're surrounded by an apartment, so how hard is it to pinch off wallpaper when we move out? We own the landlord's permission to paint, but I don't know around wallpaper. I could paint it directly onto the wall, but figured that'd be harder to do.
Thanks for the comfort!

How just about getting four picture canvases and painting them together as one life-size design and then put them within matching frames and droop them in a square.
Something approaching this, only if I did it, I would hang up them closer together.
Best wishes.
