I bought interior paint, but it is more dark brown than I intended, how would I remove the colour it up a little, would plain white work?
Answers:    Like the others said, yes, it will remove the colour it up a little. But it will also tone down the pigment of the brown, so make the addition of the white with advise. If you have a gallon of paint, I would join only 1/2 cup white at a time. Mix it surrounded by a covered 2 or 5 gallon bucket. And mix it WELL!! I would stir it very thoroughly, digging down gaping to the bottom, at least 100 times respectively time you add white until you find the right color. If you don't mix it well, your paint career will be very streaked. You might also consider taking it wager on to the paint store and asking them to lighten it a bit. For a small duty, they are typically happy to do so, and you will be ensure the paint is well mixed. Another article to consider, is that the paint will look much lighter wet than it does once it's dried. So get sure you test a few spots on the wall as you run to get the right tone.

Good luck and UGH!! I detest when that happens!!
Yeah, you can mix it next to a little white paint to blanch it.
