we built a new house and the builders get sprayed paint on some of the wooden cabinet. very standard lamp, fine dots of paint. all purpose cleaner and wood cleaner doesn't remove them.

Answers:    Mr. Clean Magic Eraser I find take EVERYTHING off. (including some varnish on wood, so be careful).

I usually use paint thinner. But that's on a short time ago wood with out any wood stain or any other type of wood coating.
