How to remodel a 60's pink bathroom? I want to remodel my bathroom. I have the 60's PINK tile...
I want to remodel my bathroom. I have the 60's PINK tile 2/3 wall adjectives around. Plus pink sink, tub, toilet, and pink ceramic tile on the floor. Ripping it adjectives out would be approx. $35,000 which I don't have! Any suggestions on a cheaper method, or at least some decorate ideas to possibly play down the pink? Thanks

I recommend doing your own estimate based on square footage and your needs/wants surrounded by your bathroom. Compare estimates on different options.
My husband & I have the same problem beside our 60's bathroom, only ours be turquoise. We considered having the tub refinished, but contained by the end we wound up working beside it. We ripped out the sink & toilet, tiled the floor & tub surround, and replaced the sink & toilet near white ones. We used neutral tile throughout & sea-glass articulation tiles to complement the tub. The whole project cost us between $2,000 - $2,500. We carry complements on it all the time. Tiling isn't that difficult, simply time consuming. I would suggest reading up on it on the internet & books first to get the nitty-gritty. You can rent a tile saw from home improvement centers. Replacing the sink & toilet is in principle simple too. If you need any plumbing done though, I would suggest going away that part to the plumber. Good luck!
