How to redecorate my room contained by a black, white and hot pink issue? Ok, right now I have unsightly brown carpet and ugly blue walls....

Ok, right now I have unsightly brown carpet and ugly blue walls. I also enjoy a trundle bed, but it is painted red and it leans and it is very old-fashioned. I want to repaint my walls and get new flooring (but latest flooring is very expensive if u dont install yourself). The two main things I want my room to be centered around is this cover...http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.d... and this rug that matches...http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.d... but how will this look against light brown runner? any advice on what to do? I would REALLY love to something with my floors the most...but my budget is 300 to 400 dollars. PLEASE HELP!

another idea, what roughly speaking pink and brown with polka dots. Bring some life into the drab mat. Look for pink off cuts of carpet.
Cut out round circles from your brown mat
Cut out the same size circle from the pink carpet and stick into holes, walla exotic refreshed look.

Paint the walls 2 pink and 2 brown, then stick pink polka dots on the brown walls and brown polka dots on the pink walls.

Paint your bed white, bring yourself some hot pink bedding. Add some fluffy accents in pillows or a light.

Dont verbs about the brown carpet..I would read aloud yea if it was some nasty pink or sickly or green but brown is neutral and people really dont receive stuck on looking at carpets. You definatly want to pain the walls and draw from some cool vibrant colored pictures something with yellow within them I think would look awesome!! Hope this helps!
