Its so hard to paint my damm room. The idiots that used to live here had some cloud mural, and the blue paint is a mission to cover up. We bought unknown paint for the second coat and i realized that it was FLAT a bit than SEMIGLOSS (does this mean i have to repaint the together room twice?)..And the paint on the roller never comes off easily i hold to apply so much pressure. How come the paint doesnt come off the roller easily?
At least 2 coats .. first coat one primer. As far as the paint not cominng off the rollers ... are you using water base paint .. if yes, there shouldn't be a problem .. you can always address to the people you buy your paint supplies from .. I'm sure they'll have tips to fashion the job easier . Good luck , I hate to paint but sometimes it have to be done.
Paint on the roller - Make sure you are getting a good amount of paint of the roller. It sounds approaching you aren't saturating the roller enough so you later don't have enough to paint the wall!
You can mix between paint finishes, but with the sole purpose if your final coat has VERY good coverage.
It is other best to primer over dark colors or murals BEFORE painting the room... this will start you beside a clean palette and provide the best final results.
