How to steep hole lower than garage floor where on earth ground have wash out or settled? I have discovered a hole where my cobblestone driveway meets my garage...

I have discovered a hole where my cobblestone driveway meets my garage foundation. It is right in the corner where on earth the basement wall meets the garage floor. I am not sure how adjectives or wide it might be. I assume this is from settling or wash out . How and what should I use to permeate this with,dirt, concrete or other?
