How to titivate spray bottles? I have a couple of plain plastic spray bottles I want to...
I have a couple of plain plastic spray bottles I want to use to refill near my favorite kitchen cleaners. I want to know if anyone has any ideas as to how I could adorn them to pretty them up so I can keep them on the little shelf over my sink instead of having to put them away lower than the sink every time I use them. I can't seem to find any really pretty empty spray bottles online or surrounded by stores. I dont need anything encrusted in gold ingots, lol.jusdt something pretty. TIA.
Answers: You can use vinyl cling on stickers that can be removed when you need to wash them. I found mine at the craft stores. The type I hold came on sheets and you can cut out designs, then in recent times like the cling ons you use for glass, you showery the back lightly, but on these you own to take a little solution soap (regular dish soap works fine) on your finger smearing it all of the way to the edges, full strength after slap them on the bottle. I also found you can glue metal charms, jewels and other embellishments on them beside plumbers goop and they will stick through washings. You can also paint them, but the new plastics paint for plastics by Krylon only comes surrounded by spray form. But, you can "spray on" a stencil with it.
I don't know exactly what you mean by pretty--I've bought different coloured plastic spray bottles from dollar stores, some of them look pretty flawless, like the ones hairdressers often use. If you want to write on them so you're sure what's surrounded by them, a paint pen works. Those come in many colours, bring back them at Michaels or most craft stores. And there is a multitude of stickers out there, some immensely decorative.
