Ok, so I am currently looking to purchase an unfinished platform bed from and a bright mattress. What exactly does "unfinished" mean? Also, I would close to to paint and have it organized before I win the new mattress. Would I obligation to apply anything to the frame, such as a sealant or something, before I painted it? Thanks.

Answers:    Unfinished simply technique the wood is raw. Use fine sandpaper to return with it smooth (always sanding near the grain). Then paint with the appropriate primer. Once that's dry, paint it next to the paint you have select. Done!
Is it okay to cut a memory foam...
it simply means that the lumber is at it's "raw" stage. requirements some sanding and such.
