cut the dry-wall, any concentration you choose , into 3 inch sections on the put a bet on and don't cut the paper on the bottom. this will contribute you your bend. now finish beside this dap spackle. i use this because it dries really hard and is effortless to sand.
Depends on radius/arc, also type of trim to be used. I used 3/8" plywood. Scored the back near circular saw about 1/4". It should conform to arc. If not pliable satisfactory, try soaking first. I then cut my own trim out of 3/4" pine. They also engineer "wiggle board" but not much different later method described above. There is also 1/4" sheetrock also called "pizza board" which should bend suitably. Then you can use flexible corner bead, spackle & paint.
