How much would it cost for the wood to kind a bedframe? im thinking cheap wood and a bed somewhat like a bunk bed...

im thinking cheap wood and a bed somewhat like a bunk bed but near no bottom bunk. about how much would this cost if i go to home depot and did the work myself?

BJC recommendation is excellent. Always determine what you requirement, then you can price it. But, assuming you want to run cheap, you could probably get by at in the order of:

2 each of 6 foot pine planks, approx. $14
2 respectively of 4 foot pine planks, approx. $7
4 standard 4 foot 4 by 4 posts, approx $20
20 feet of 1 by 2, approx. $4
4 respectively of 4 foot by 6 inch wide slats, approx. $16
1 bos 1.5 inch wood screw, approx. $4

Total: $65 and thats going about as cheap as you can catch.

Add about $10 to that if you plan on sculpture or staining the finished product. Total: $75

You can alweays look for lumber thats on sale also.

you would hold to have the measurements first. so integer out how big you want to make it, and how much wood you would requirement, then you hail as home depot and ask how much the wood would be....don't forget to factor in the cost of the screw and such...
