I inherited a 34,000 sq. ft. lot and I really want to build a house on it. Nothing too fancy. Maybe a 1,500 sq. foot 2 bedroom 2 bathroom house, single smooth. I am completely ignorant to this sort of point and don't want to get ripped rotten.
Does anyone have any perception about how to even start this project?

Answers:    As we do not know your location, this is a complicated question to answer! Your best bet is to shop around, call for and compare. You may want to go out and buy some house plan books, available at home expansion stores or even your local grocery, and get a better perception of what you want. This way, you can relate the contractor exactly what you want and they can serve you better. Good luck!

Just call some builders contained by your area, they should confer you an estimate price per sq ft, so you have a well-mannered idea. Get a few quotes. In my nouns they have bottom of the butt type house builders and more custom homes with superior end products.
