How much paint will I want and how much will it cost!? I want to paint one of the rooms in my house...

I want to paint one of the rooms in my house but I'm not sure what the cost of paint is and how much a gallon of paint would find me, if I'm painting 3 walls within a bedroom how many gallons would that be and how much money would it cost for that paint...?

Answers:    Since we don't own measurements, heres what you do.
measure your walls, add the square footage:
example:
10' X 8' = 80sqft
12 X 8' = 80sqft
10 X 9' = 96sqft

Total sqft: 256

1 gallon covers approx. 400sqft. So you will just necessitate 1 gallon to do the job (with 2 coats because 2nd coat does not use as much paint, so you will enjoy enough for 2 coats)

Cost: vary from store to store. Go to Home Depot and get Glidden or Behr. You'd probably be paying roughly speaking 20-30 dollars. (Not sure where you are, Canada, US, etc?)

John is right .One gallon =400 sq. ft. or, one gallon will cover a 10x12 room excluding doorways and window. The price differs with the finish and talent. Around 30 dollars for a good explain paint.
