If I close my deck, make it into a room. how much could it cost? I am from MN.
Answers:    Well.. let's see. Obviously it depends upon the size of the room you will be createing.

Then you can break down respectively component to make pricing easier. I am assuming here that you are looking to create an environment controlled room with insulation and such.

So.. first the floor. If you are converting a deck than the board are probably spaced apart as you own to cover that with a polite plywood flooring. This runs about $15 to $20 per sheet. Each sheet is 4 foot by 8 foot.

Next comes the framing, I am going to assume you will be using standard 16" center stud walls (8ft). These types of framing will cost something like $10 per 4 foot section.

Any window? For each skylight add going on for $25 for cheap ones and an addition $5 for the wood to frame it.
Next comes the ceiling joist and rafters. You might know how to save some (minor) by using the rafter as the ceiling supports but I doubt you'll do this so I won't go into it. You will want rafters and joist ever 2' crossways to the room. You can estimate about @25 per joist/rafter/support.

Now let's dry it surrounded by. You need to price out siding. This can come and go but you'll want to match anything your home has so it looks clad and you retain the resale value. To determine this cost, amount the outside perimeter of the room and divide by 4. This will make available you the number of 4ft x 8ft sections you requirement.

For the roof, you'll need sheeting plywood, pitch paper and shingles to cover it. Determing the square footage and calc later multiply by $2.50 as a rough cost per per sqft.

Now.. you want some lights and electrical. First you need to see if you own enough room within your breaker box to accomodate the new circuit. If not you can 'tie in' to an existing circuit but you risk over loading it. Determing how plentiful lights and plug outlets and switches and phone jacks and cable TV jacks, etc that you will need. Mearsure out where on earth the wire will move about to determine how much wire/cable you will need. Then price the components. For a simple oil lamp fixture, two plugs and 1 Cable TV jack you can expect to spend about $125 including cable and breaker.

Next is to insulate the room. This will run about $5 per linier foot (perimeter) for the walls and $3 per Square foot of ceiling (width of room x depth of room).

Now you obtain to sheet rock it. Sheet rock runs about $10 per sheet on average and you'll want two types, wall sheet and ceiling sheets. Using the perimeter of the room, divide it by 4 and that's how tons wall sheets you need. The ceiling sheet are a bit different as you can carry 8, 10 and 12 ft lengths but I suggest you do this next to 8ft if your doing it yourself. Determine the sqft of the room and divide it by 32 and that's the number sheets you will need. Then you call for a 5gallon bucket sheet rock mud and some wall paper cartridge which will cost you about $20.

Now you can put down the floor... mat, linoleum or tile? You'll have to estimate this yourself.

Finnally you can trim it out. You inevitability base boards for the boundary of the room and your need quarter round trim for the corners and top edges (or crown molding).

There your done! Figure adjectives those and away you go!

Now... here's what I recent did. I put a room over a 10x15 quad with cup walls for my hot tub room and did all the above. This cost me around $5,000 and I did it adjectives myself.

If you don't have the tools nor the woodwork skills you can expect to pay a minimum of $8,000 to a maximum of $20,000.

Good luck and I hope this help!
