I recently come across a beautiful, modern, economically priced canopy bed which is something I own always needed. Unfortunately, it only comes surrounded by a black metal finish & all my bedroom furniture is a extremely dark espresso color. Can I mix the black bed next to the dark brown furniture? Could I spraypaint it short making it look gross & terribly cheap & if so should I do it contained by silver (the rest of the metal in the room is silver) or paint it brown?
adjust some furniture in your room to black rod or style iron...
Mirrors, chairs, fraims, hardware..youll be good.
Dont ask how I know the answer to this put somebody through the mill, I have my manliness to preserve.
i wouldn't spray paint it
i think dimness espresso and black go highly well together
sounds lovely
Answers: I would first prime it......after paint it a light brown.
After the flimsy brown dries.... i would take some brown expresso colored paint on a paint brush.....paint it onto a handkerchief with the paintbrush and later just weakly wipe the brown paint onto the light brown merely to give a 'shadowing' effect of the pitch-black brown onto the light brown... (to contest the other pieces in the bedroom).
This approach, it doesn't seem close to you tried to be too 'matchy matchy' with the bed that unambiguously is a seperate piece than the other pieces of the bedroom set......AND....it will add optical interest to the room.
please dont ruin a beautiful artwork similar to that with spray paint. of late leave it as it is or draw from it professionaly done.
