Is it grease or latex(water) base paint, u want to know this before using any nice of solvent. Usually if its a water bottom paint u just capture hot water and soap to verbs it out. If its oil use something close to goof off , mineral spirit, by dapping it on to a cloth and rub it out.


If it is latex paint hot soapy and water should work okay. If it is oil base paint you might want test terpentine out on a hiden spot in the past you put it on a spot in the enlarge.

After blotting up as much paint as possible, find several clean, dry rag. Use white rags so you can see your progress within removing the stain from the material. Apply a small amount of paint thinner or turpentine to the first scarf. Blot the stain gently, person careful not to grind it into the fibers or deeper into the pile. Use verbs rags to verbs this process until the stain is gone. After the stain has be lifted using turpentine or paint thinner, verbs the area using a hearth rug or upholstery-cleaning product of your choice. Allow it to dry, and vacuum the area.
Answers:    Even better would be to know what kind of hearth rug you have, as the nylon fibers within most carpets will soften from the solvents in turpentine.

Identify your carpet, later whether it is latex, oil base, or enamel paint.

Also if it is oil base, quick removal is knob, once it dries, it may be impossible to remove.
Try the least possible harsh chemical first, isopropyl alcohol, after you may move up to lamp grease, kerosene, turpentine, paint thinner, whatever you choose.

Never try wipe or rub the stain away, as it will singular work the stain into the fibers. Always blot. and always use a verbs rag.

Do not try to remove grease based near water. Once you own succesfully remover that stain, then you may wipe up the carpet beside soap and water to remove any abhorrent smells the solvents have gone.
