How do you Remove Permanent Marker from a wall or what paint can go over it? In a few days I will be helping my friend paint his room and here is Permanent Marker on his wall from when he was a kid. I am an artist and I've tried to paint over irretrievable marker since on canvas but it seem to come through the paint as a purplish colour. That was near Acrylic Paint.
What are some solutions to this problem. I suggested sanding his walls to seize it off, but at hand is alot of it, and if there is an easier road, all the better.
he suggested priming the wall as ably, but I'm not sure how many layer of paint will be needed before the signpost does not come through and we don't have alot of time to spend repainting. We're not sure what sensitive of paint to use either. Probably the cheapest we can find because we're trying to release money.
Is there anything we can use to bath it off the wall or is within any kind of paint that we can buy that will not allow it to come through?
Thanks.
Answers: Go to your local box store and buy Kilz. It is the best stuff to use if you inevitability to cover a large nouns.
Magic eraser may work too, but Kilz will cover the whole nouns quickly, if you hold a lot of grades, you will be scrubbing for a long time.
Magic Eraser that article really works magic
