I have a room without a pane, and it's very intimidating. I'm also a little bit claustrophobic. Is in attendance any way I can make my room a short time more comfortable? I'm planning to put a mirror up, which might make my room appear to be a little more spacious. However... I'm not sure where on earth to place my mirror. Any other tips besides putting up a mirror? I've tried to eliminate as much clutter as possible, but it still looks like a put inside cell.
Buy a old wood window frame at a second paw store or antique store , break out the glass put mirrors in and droop with curtains like a indisputable window, or order a poster of a view or sea scape that will fit the window frame..it will at lowest possible give the illusion of a pane. Purchase one of those mirrors that look like a window. You can fins one at lowes, just about $20.00. Good luck.

You can add artwork of an outdoor scene. You can buy a faux window, Hobby Lobby have some nice ones (half off at least once a month. You can buy a curtain rod and hang down curtains from it so it will seem as if you do have a windowpane. You can buy some shutters so it will look as if you have a window. You can other photograph a window with a great picture and enlarge it in a frame and post it on the wall near curtains. It'll give the illusion of window or if you have a wall mounted tv play a loop of the outdoors on DVD. I've seen it done back and is pretty cool.
