How do you? we are in the process of trying to paint paneling, that be...

we are in the process of trying to paint paneling, that be left beside a ton of stickers and glue grades, we just want to paint over it instead of removing it, the paneling is maple and we want to brand it grey, is this possible>? What about in attendance are some bare spots on the paneling- will paint cover it up?
Answers:    Paint will hold a hard time trying to stick to sticker goo and will coat off following. You could take that accident if you want to. Otherwise soak the remaining stickers with heat up water, rub them off near a putty knife, and remove the sticker goo beside 'goo gone'. Treat the walls with a deglosser. Kilz water-based primer should sucessfully cover the stripped spots and prep your surface to take your chosen paint color. FYI: Kilz is a wide-reaching primer meant to be a budge between oil and river finishes. So it should work on top of your paneling, but do somewhat test first. There are closely of websites on painted/painting paneling: here are a few:

Good luck-I think it'll be worth it contained by the end!
Painting will cover over the paneling and dispense you a country feel. My mom did this and used white paint. However, it will nick a ton of paint, because the paneling is "thristy" and will soak up a lot of your paint. Good luck!
