I removed the top surface of the linoleum floor with a weighty duty scraper. Now I have to try and remove adjectives of the adhesive and funding which was moved out behind. I am planning on installing porcelain stone tiles near radiant floor heaters. What would be the best way to win down to the bare cement slab so I can start next to the smoothest surface possible? I tried some heavy duty chemicals and more scrape, but all it did be stink up the house and make me consistency dizzy.
Answers:    No matter what you do this is a horrible job. Chemicals will not aid much and usually make things more gummy and difficult.
If you own been using a blade scraper so far it doesn't get much better.
Using a warmness gun or even a hair dryer will verbs the glue and craft removing the chunks of old lino easier. The bonding agent is easiest to remove when dry and can be cut off beside a sharp scraper blade.
I usually end up near blisters on my blisters after a job approaching this, sorry.
You can try your luck with an rime scraper - not the car description, the metal kind next to a long wooden handle. Sharpening the blade should work material nice. If not, I do believe they sell a special tool for this, but I never have to use one. Ask someone at the tile store, but a sharp ice scraper should do the trick!
