How do I refinish an antediluvian pine wood dresser to endow with it an Asian furniture look?
Answers: Black lacquer. If it's a more modern piece without drawer pulls or handles, a broad asymmetric cut-out of 3 or 5 sweeping lines in gold across it's entire front would be a nice touch. If it does enjoy handles or pulls, replace them with antiqued brass hardware and Chinese red tassel hanging from each one.
