How can I dress up a vault apartment?
try looking at used furniture stores and fine art it yourself... you might even get it for smaller amount! You would have to sand it a bit and later paint it, but you could do it! When you go, look at the shape of the lines of the piece - the legs, drawer fronts, not the color. The drawer pulls can be replaced at any hardware store or even some WalMarts deal in them. Also, what about flea market or yard sale? That is where i procure a lot of pious pieces, and then after i modify them to suit me they look really great!
