How do i fur wires? not so long ago i saw on gmtv on the DIY...

not so long ago i saw on gmtv on the DIY tips where you can use 2 bits of wood and put them together to bring in an L shape and then put them against the wall and paint them over to meeting the decor and look tidy in the room.

we are also decorate out son's room and there are pipes on show going right around the room so we would really close to these covered over too.could anyone give me some suggestions please and also step by step instructions on how to do this
Answers:    it depends on where on earth the pipe's are, such as running along the skirting board or up a corner of a room or even in full scenery up or across a wall.
I have bought a 'hollow' skirting board which is built to step 'over' up to two pipes running along the floor. It is nailed to the wall over a few wooden batten i put there. don't do what I did and tack hammer a nail into a copper pipe though!.
covering beside tow pieces of wood and painting over them is a okay known method. You can also draw from plastic trunking which can cover the pipes. the lower half ca be a problem fitting but the lid? clips over and hide the pipes.
not easy to describe you how to do anything without knowing what type of covering you are planning on using.
goo luck though and don't cogitate twice about asking for recommend in one of the significant suppliers stores such as B& Q's. they have tradesmen surrounded by all skills in attendance and many relish imparting information on how to best obtain round a problem using the stores products. If asked politely will no doubt also administer breif instructions on how to go in the order of fitting whatever you resolve to but too! seek and ye shall find..
you could do impossible to tell apart as the wires or re route them so they dont show or jst get some plaster boards and put them over allthe channel around the room so it just looks resembling flat walls and no pipes
