we have a bed wheel, it was fine and straightforward to move around on a carpeted floor but we moved to a tiled bigger space so immediately we rollerskating the whole darkness!!
Answers: lol... You can actually buy these little cups that stir under the legs of furniture. They're usually intended for hardwood floors. They're made of metal and the bottom is lined next to carpeting material and the legs of the furniture are lift over top of them so they don't damage the rugged wood floor but it would probably stop the movement of the wheels, although, they still might slide a bit when you're getting within and out of bed.
If you don't mind the appearance though, I would go to the subsequent suggestion.
Suggestion No. 2 would be to purchase that kind of rubbery placemat fabric. They also sell this contained by smaller pieces for removing lids on jar. I hope you can picture what I'm talking around. It's definitely a no-skid type textile. If you put the wheels on that, I don't devise that you would go anywhere during the darkness. The rubbery type stuff is available at most dollar stores in the kitchen nouns of the store.
If you don't want to damage the wheel, go to a hearth rug supply store and ask if they have any of those token mats that have the same type of pile your mature room had. Cut the mat near a carpet axe and put squares under respectively wheel. It will protect the tiles, too.
PS I have a good snigger with this one- perchance if you guys got some sleep you wouldn't be rocking around the room so much? lol. =]
