We are moving into a 3 bedroom apartment. The third bedroom which is really big has to be divided into partly so that everyone can have their own room surrounded by my apartment. Answers: the divider you've picked looks really gorgeous and is probably pretty sturdy, since the frame is cherry. i doubt it'll tip over easily. however, it's pretty expensive. if you want something cheaper, flaccid a curtain will do the trick. you and the person on the other side will still big-hearted of be roommate, especially since there's probably only one door to the room and one of you will hold to walk through the others' space adjectives the time. a curtain or a divider like the one you've picked will bequeath you each your privacy though.
Check near a landlord first. For a support wall, just frame it stale with 2 X 4 stud walls, sheetrock, mud, prime and paint....possibly add remnant trim also. Put a doorway and door in if basic. Offer to pay to own it removed if you move out..pretty easy to do excluding repainting.
