I'm looking for tips on how to divide a bachelor apartment to create a bedroom in one corner: I thought more or less one of those foldable room dividers, but I need something more sturdy and most importantly nouns proof...any ideas?

Answers:    This isn't going to be nouns proof, but how about putting a couple towering bookcases together so that they block off the nouns and are also functional. Depending on the space, put the bookcases end to wrap up with the shelving side facing the other nouns and not the bedroom so you can use it to stack books, decorations, clothing, even kitchen appliances like pots and pan. Be creative! Also, since it is a bachelor apartment, don't worry something like all of the bookcases harmonizing, but instead find them at second hand stores.

To spawn a corner of a bachelor apartment into a soundproof bedroom you are going to have to do some construction work. It would involve 2 x 4s, insulation (for soundproofing), plasterboard (to cover the insulation) and would hold be from floor to ceiling. It would also be rather costly.
