I want to redo my room, since it's so plain. I've never applyed wallpaper up to that time. Where can I get them and how do I put them on? I am also looking for a style and subject and color combinations for my room. I am 13 and I am a chill chick. Should I make my room pink and green, pink and white, wan and light green, blue and white, or what? What color comforter should I go and get and where can I attain it?
Hey! I have only finished renovating my apartment (it took a really long time) but when you are doing it all for the first time it is really correct to use as many resources as possible, try this website, lots of information and really jammy to follow - I found a link which be specifically related to wallpaper application: http://www.newyorkgeneralcontractor.com/...
Goodluck!!!
I would seriously reconsider the wallpaper odds. It is a bit challenging to suspend it straight and align the patterns within it. Beyond that, it can be horrible to remove when you get tired of it.
Paint is such a great opportunity because it is fairly inexpensive and if you acquire bored with it, you can other repaint easily.
Check out this websites for concept. It might inspire you to creating the perfect room for you.

Answers: Go to Home Depot, Lowes, wallpaper stores, or look in the phone book beneath wallpaper. I would pick the wallpaper out first before you buy anything else. Maybe you will settle on on a great one or maybe not at adjectives. You may decide to do lone one wall or maybe in recent times half a wall and put up a bench rail. There is profusely out there to choose from. First, buy a sizing. It comes surrounded by a powder form (or maybe in position to applly) and you mix it up with river and put it on the wall. Let it dry. Get a level or plumb bob to lend a hand you mark the first row from top to bottom so it will be up straight. You don't want it on an angle.Mark it beside a pencil. Then look at your wallpaper good and see if near is a match across - vote for instance a piece of a rose is on the edge and the other piece on the subsequent strip of wallpaper will be the match across. Find that meeting and decide how you can cut respectively piece so it is matched and long enough to arrive at the ceiling and the floor. Then you need to buy a soak/drip tub. I would cut say 4 or 5 pieces to make the wall from side to side. Cut your first piece of wallpaper the length you want plus about 4", roll it up and put it contained by the wallpaper pan and consent to is soak about 10 second. Then pull it out, double it down going on for 15-20",(don't crease it,) then embezzle the other end and double it up to almost draw together the other end. Let this set and "book" a minute or two until the smooth mixture on the back become tacky. Go to the wall next to it, pull up the short expiration and take it to the top, extend just about 2" over the ceiling, and line it up on your plumb smudge or use the level to take home sure it is straight. Use your brush and smooth it, drop the other end and keep hold of smoothing it out with the brush until you are adjectives the way down. Use a verbs cloth or towel to smooth it out but do not push it off the stripe. You will now nick a razorblade knife and cut the wallpaper at the ceiling and at the bottom where on earth it meets the baseboard. Smooth it adjectives out. Step back and look at it. If you are really rewarded, match the subsequent piece and continue. I forget to mention that you should number your papers insubstantially on the back next to a pencil. Some repeats on the wallpaper will be 18" or 20" but maybe the one you pick out will not hold to be matched. Maybe you will like a stripe.
I hope this explains it. Anyway, years from presently when you are tired of it, you can spray it with hose down with yard goods softener and because you applied the sizing, it will be easy to remove. If you did not use the sizing, you would be picking at it a moment or two piece at a time. Good luck.
