We have a house built contained by the 70's. The bathroom has 70's sickly tile in it. We can not afford to buy hot tile yet and until we can I would close to to decorate the bathroom so the pale looks softer. . What color can I paint the walls to down play the yellow. I thought in the region of painting the tile but my husband say no! The tile is on the walls around the bathtub and the big vainty. The tile is in really upright shape and is not a ugly sickly, just to much ashen. The floor is beige. Any proposal from seasoned decorators?

I think blue and ashen go devout together, but thats just me.
