I have taken stale a single cabinet door, sanded it and applied two coats of a cloudy mocha stain. After letting it sit for an hour, it still does not look dark at adjectives. I am trying to get it to a markedly, very shadows rich brown. I don't want to paint.
Answers:    Stains take differently on different woods. And different brands will soak within differently. That being said, the best ominous stain that I have used on assorted kinds of wood is by EF Stains and the color, coincidentally is call Espresso. It is beautiful and I guess you will be very positive with it. Just clear sure you mix the quarts togetherso all of the cabinet turn out the same color. I also recommend using a conditioner past you stain. Here is a link to the product.
