The last time I painted my room, I be nine years old, and it's a flimsy blue color on all the walls and ceiling. I've grown, 16 years ancient now and I'd approaching to update!!

How can I make my room look bigger using paint? What colors, where on earth?
you can bring in your bedroom look bigger by painting your the walls a hurricane lantern color, like ashen or beige or something resembling that. On the other hand if you paint your room a night color like a brown or copper than you'll fashion the room look smaller, because of the shading.:)

The first and easiest portion to decide on is the ceiling which should be white, or if you don't want such a stark color, use a cream or ivory color- not comparatively as contrasting, but still the opening up trait of a white.
Next, choose a color in a frothy shade that you know you won't mind waking up to almost everyday for at lowest two more years or so- that was my mistake! And don't automatically count out vibrant colors that you may not consider at first, such as a bright ginger.
You can also, once you have the color contained by mind, for interest color 3 walls a lighter shade of it and then on a forth wall that have not as much going on (such as no window or whatnot) use a brighter shade of one and the same color with a design on it next to lighter shade used on the other walls. Or if you have a favorite piece of literature, memo it on the wall (plan out spacing first!), or if you enjoy drawing create you're own simple master piece (such as a wall size color contrasting daisy, and for something close to that think opposites on from a color wheel)
Sorry this have been so long, but I hope it help! Have fun with the redecorate and remember that this is your space so make sure that no thing what it ends up being that you love it!
Answers:    in some cases a menacing color can also make a room look bigger. i painted my room a shadows charcoal gray, and use a high explain white for furniture and trim and ceiling. the scale for furniture within the room also helps..

but going beside the lighter colors tends to receive a room look bigger yeah.. and like another poster said, paint the rear legs wall a darker color (complimentary or a dark shade of the others) to create a tunneling effect. also helps to hold the ceiling in a low explain white, causing more frothy to reflect sour the ceiling and helping to make it appear bigger. :)
