I don't want to have a box-spring beneath my mattress!
I hate box-springs and bed-frames since highschool. When I'm have sex, bed frames make so much rumble bumping into the wall. I usually put a towel on it doesn't make as much resonance when I run into someone with a bed-frame on his bed.
I also can`t bear box-springs; they move when having sex, and I'm affraid I'll break them. I approaching a big mattress on the floor. There's no noise as it would be if in attendance was a bed frame, and I don't own to be careful more or less not breaking the box-spring.
I'm 26. As comfortable as it is to me to have a mattress on the floor. It kinda make me look like a college boy who can't afford furniture.
How can I product a room with a mattress on the floor look suitable?
Answers: The platform bed is not a bad opinion because it is pretty much a plywood box. But another idea is to catch an additional top matress. You stack the two so it give the illusion of a box spring or short frame near out the squeeking or the fear of cracking the box spring. Make sure the bottom matress is really firm so that it doesn't sort the bed too soft.
You can also in incorporation to that put a short bed skirt on the bottom matress to disguise it and definatly have nice linens and big mannish pillows and if you make sure the rest of the room bedecked maturly the bed on the floor won't matter!
With any luck, if someone is still put rotten by the sight of your bed... your X-rated skills contained by the bed will make up for the PG-13 look of the outside of the bed!
Good luck and hope this help!
Just keep it tidy and put a shipshape conforter on top and add lotts of pillows on it. Comfort is push button here.
