How can I create a jazz floor? I am renting a banquet assembly room and am decorating it contained...

I am renting a banquet assembly room and am decorating it contained by a Winter Wonderland theme, next to Blue, White, and Silver. The hall is one full-size room with a Kittchen and bathrooms seperate. I looked-for to make the one subdivision for seating and the other side for dancing/preformances.. But I didnt know how I could do that. I dont really want a roomy stage because I dont have alot of money to rent one and I dont want to variety one. But I wanted to sympathetic of seperate the sections somehow. I be thinking about draping some stuff to make close to a curtain that could be gatthered to each side approaching a stage curtain.. But idk how I could do lighting or exactly what else to do. I cant get a lighting crew because as I said I dont own a budget so something I can do myself.
