I'm sick of how frames look and I'd love to hear creative ideas.
Have you tried those frameless frames, it's a back board with a cup front, the pic goes in between and they are held together by clips.
You can also try a french note board.
You can buy the "putty", (don't remember the exact name) to be exact sold to keep items like vase or glassware in place during an earthquake. I live in California on the fault and a lot of people use it for those purposes, as capably as hanging things on the wall (artwork, Quilts, etc.) You can buy it at an arts and crafts store. I really like those little stuff covered boards that have pretty ribbon criss-crossed all over them..you merely slide the pics into the slots..I also like the little things that look like "flex trees" where they have abundantly of little "branches" and there is a little circle factor at the end of each "branch" that you can slide a picture into..Sorry, I don't know the term of either item..but hopefully you will know what I am talking more or less.also.there are some cute ways to put the pics as screen saver on your computer and they have car radios immediately that you can load your pics onto and then they display on near as like screen saver..My fiance has one..Our cable company (AT &T) also has a drain where you can load your pics onto the TV trench from your computer..and that channel plays nothing but your pictures...It's pretty awesome.Hope this help.
Tacks, tape, stapples WITH STICKY TAC
You could look for some really creative frames.
Or you could use a photo board, which a cushioned board with ribbon that you place the photos under.
You could use a cork board.
You could use card displays. They hang down from the wall and hold Xmas cards.
Answers: I've helped a friend do a cute photo floppy project. We bought some scrapbook paper (12x12) and hung them in a cut-out with double sided tape, consequently placed pictures on the paper. We then trimmed out the pictures and the dissertation with border tape. You could do solid colors, lined papers to achieve whatever look you're going for, and its pretty inexpensive.
Just do a photo collage, like on the Kodak commercial with the dog. Paste photos adjectives over your wall...use them as wallpaper basically. I know u said without frames, but i use clear clipboard frames and formulate collages out of m photos and they look fab!
otherwise blue-tack yor photos around your mirrows etc
you could "matte" them, put them in a white cut out board and do something to the back to attach a hook to that..turn to some store like Michaels and they can help you further on ways to suspend photos w/o frames. Sheet of metal from home depot, then put a small piece of magnet on the back of the pictures. And you can paint the metal. It's a crafty piece, look it up.
well sometimes i use the little place card holders to hold my pictures, sometimes u can find really cute ones. use tack's with a tack hammer . use a stappler . tape it on the wall .
In my basement I have charming surfaces all over, so what I did is I used decorative compelling photo corners from http://www.magneticdecor.com to affix the pictures. It looks cool. Good luck! You could... line the outside of them with flex... and hang it from a nail within the wall? Add colored strings and mini pom poms and such.
cassette well you try clear contact paper only just arrange them then hang them this will protect your pictures
