How can I dangle things on my dorm room walls? For my college dorm room, I made a 6' by 6' cork...
For my college dorm room, I made a 6' by 6' cork board kind of thing next to a frame and everything. We're not allowed to put nails surrounded by the walls. I need a sturdy way to suspend it up without making a hole in the wall.
If it has holes within the back for hooks, you could use removable hooks. I can't remember what brand they are. You stick these plastic hooks to the wall with an glue strip. When you need them to come off, you verbs the bottom, and it stretches until it pops off the wall. No hole, no lost paint, you're good. :) You can usually find them contained by stationary section of Walmart or the big store of your choice. Forget the cork board. There are little plastic clamps with wax on the pay for. Any student store on campus should have them.
I have a college nouns on my wall with the same clamps I put on surrounded by 1981, still works.
3M makes those hooks that hang up on the wall.can't remember what they're called at the moment, but they work great.
You can use double sided tape but it make a mess and you need a LOT.
Also there is stuff call FUNTAK that is like putty, although I doubt it would hold the consignment of a corkboard.
You could try borrowing a drill, a masonry bit, and some masonry screws if your dorm is cinderblock, like lots are. You can always spackle the holes when you move out. Spackle is cheap at Home Depot and other such places, but white toothpaste also works well for nourishing holes, and makes your walls minty fresh!!
Check to make sure fire drive guidelines aren't being violated in doesn`t matter what you choose.
Double sided mounting tape can hold things up with for a while bit of weight to them.
Though I will warn you- it may move off residue on the walls, so make sure you have rubbing alcohol to remove that so you don't win fined! do they specify about holes in the ceiling? you could other hang it from a strong chain and hooks if they don't..
if it's as indigestible as I think it might be, you might just want to draw from a small book case to sit it on..

Many stores carry them now, but for sure Target have them. It may be a bit heavy for them, but they if you arrange it right (and with ample of them) they can hold up some heavy items. The adhesive that holds them up comes sour the walls cleanly and fairly easily. Do you know around how many pounds what you want on the wall is?
