Answers:    How high are the ceiling? You can reach a standard 8 foot ceiling next to a mop. Years ago my father had a business restoring fire dilapidated homes and had a undamaged house of free labor to help. My sister and I use to scrub near straight Lysol but in following years they invented this wonderful product called "Dawn for Dishes". Use a strong solution of Dawn and river and a sponge floor mop. Then, before you paint (using a roller near an extendable handle) paint it with a flawless primer like Zinzer or use Kilz. Or you could own a painting knees-up and invite your friends over for pizza, beer and a day of fun working together.
