My basement is totally narrow and some section are very short short of point as well (7ft). How can I frame it lacking loosing any more height and size ?
Do you know if it is OK if I install laminate floor directly on the concrete or do I have to use a subflooring? and does it own to be framed or can I skip that part within order not to loose another 4 inches?
Answers: Drywall can be put up attached to your existing floor joist, for the ceiling unless you plan on putting contained by a drop ceiling, then you will lose loftiness.
Laminate can be put down on concrete (you will want to put a layer of plastic down first), providing the moisture content is too glorious, you will be unable to put laminate down. Moisture content kit can be found at a home improvement store.
