im looking to repair 1 tennisball sized hole and a few minor thumbnail holes in apartment walls... what do i obligation and how do i fix it... best way possible...please be specific...thx

Answers:    For the thumbtack holes, the easiest route is to fill them beside drywall mud or shackling compound. Get it as smooth as possible with a scraper made for such things and permit it dry. Sand with fine newspaper (120 grit) to smooth it out. (As an alternative to sandpaper, they have big scrubber spongers designed for smoothing drywall repairs.) Then repaint.

For the tennis ball sized hole... Is it basically a depression, or is it an actual hole in the drywall? If it's merely a dent, you can fill it next to the same drywall mud as above. You might own to apply several thin layer and let it dry surrounded by between if it's deep. Once you enjoy it filled contained by, sand and paint.
