I would similar to to paint it a bubblegum pink

get some paint swatches ...Mild colors to Dramatic!
dangle them on your wall. you can a real moral feel for the color's this means of access. you'd be amazed at how much the color's change as capably with the different lights of the daylight.
Show your parents ....how could they not agree to make your yearning come true with a "Pink" room.
*I hold 2 girls .... the 16 yr olds room is various color's of Pink AND my 12 yr old's is different shades of Purples.
** we bought most the paint through "time" at Home Depot ... we bought what is call "OOppss's" paint.

Try cutting out or printing pictures rotten the internet of rooms that you like. Show them that your interested within making your room look better, not messier. Show them what you're talking roughly so they know what your ideas are and be ready to compromise some of what you like to put together them happy near the results as well.
