Hair from long haired pets is just part of the operate. I have two Maine Coon cats. They have extremely long tresses. I have carpet, hardwoods and tiles throughout my house. Cleaning is everyday on adjectives the floor services. If you want the pets, there are no floors better than others. It is all alike. So buy your best vacuum for pets, get a swiffer, and be prepared for constant clean up. It is what it is.

Answers:    Maybe if you groom/brush them everyday and sweep every so often it might be not so unpromising? If you have a pet with lots of coat, get one of those $20 air filter for the furnace for allergies ...even if you don't have allergies, you would be surprised how much pet hair they trap that you are breathing contained by.
