Has anyone received this offer? I had someone come to my house offering to put within special windows that are not available to the public. Even with the discounted price of the window and the that I would have to put a sign in front of my house letting associates know that I have these special windows, the price seem steep: $12,000 for 14 windows installed! Has anyone had this proposition? Has anyone had windows installed by a common showroom? How much did that cost? Thanks for your time.
Heck I'll come from My house and replace your windows for that much,,, I don't even know where on earth you live!! the dude is making about 10K off of you!! and what mode of windows are they! Triple thermal??
I had a neighbor close at hand by that had something like that done a couple years ago, they promised a BIG reserves on the heat and all that.. here total savings last year be $20 and the price of fuel was almost the same and they used singular a few gallons less (of propane) they tried to call those guys and the number be . you guessed it .. NO LONGER IN SERVICE! they spent about 14k on like 16 window! when they checked with a home builder ... it would have merely costed them like only $3500 for the complete thing plus a new storm door!! There is solitary one rule with door to door merchants. Anyone who is credible and worth working with WONT come to your door asking for work.

Scam Artist. Only buy from established businesses beside a proven record. Alpha Windows, Anderson Windows, etc. Check out Lowes and Home Depot. They can give you reliable contractors who will work for you. Make sure they are licensed and bonded and insured. Sign a contract, and never clear up front. No large down payment. Ask for reference. Never do business with someone who gives you that species of a phony sales pitch. Wake up. Good luck. Go to a window showroom. What you are conversation about may be a scam. Most improvement companies will ask if they can put a sign surrounded by your yard for a while. It draws attention to people endorsement your house to look at your new windows or doesn`t matter what, and its good advertising for the company. I don't know what size your window are, but 12K sounds VERY steep for 14 windows.
Answers:    Josh the price seems very steep to me. I would be totally leery if some come to my house wanting to replace my windows for $12000.00. If I was interested the first entity I would do call Better Business Bureau. Never pay for your work up front. Their so heaps scams today. Think long and hard.

Good Luck
