Well Were moving in a current home this weekend and i wanted to paint my room so i painted it purple. (color place zesty purple)a nice misty purple. and when i was done. it looked nice but i still have to paint the sides and tops(i know NOW that u suppose ta do that first.
well the sides and top is a slight dark than the walls and it make it looks crappy. what can i do?? please help out me. this the first time having my own room since my little sister be born (and that was 8 years ago)
Answers: If it still looks this instrument after it dries, I would suggest you apply another coat, in the unharmed room, roller and brush areas. Good luck!
Do a "color wash". Get a quart of a lighter color that blends with your purple...and mix next to "glaze". Then just paint within XXX strokes about 12" across a 3 foot nouns at a time...Then take a crumpled up handkerchief and blot as you go...and you will hold a beautiful wall that looks close to expensive wallpaper!
