I want to have my wood trim on my house repainted a darker color. The problem is the fascia and gutters are white. I want them matching color as the newly painted trim.

So, is it okay to paint the Fascia and gutters? Does it hold up? Would you suggest they use a sprayer?

Thanks in credit!
Answers:    I had both my gutters and fascia professionally painted. They used rollers on the fascia and sprayed a specially formulated paint for aluminum for the gutters. Both look as good as the daylight they painted them, they did prime both however. They used a stain blocking primer on the facia and because the gutters were powder coated they used a primer on them, too for better adhesion. Both were wash prior to being primed and painted. It has be 5 years and they are holding up to our triple digit temps and rain, but I also have a 15 year warranty so if at hand are any problems, I can call them back. Buy paint beside an extensive warranty.
I'm not a paint pro, but we've painted metal gutters and wooden fascia ourselves a couple of times. As long as you use the right paint and do thorough prep (ugh), it adheres just fine.

I never tried a sprayer, so I'll evacuate that for someone else to answer.
