Like any handyman can build a platform for a bed, all it tkes is wood and a few minutes of time.

Light fixtures at Home Depot or Lowes, surrounded by all crazy colors and styles

Vintage pattern in funky colors at any craft store, hobby Lobby or material store for really cheap. Know someone who can sew it takes with the sole purpose a couple of mnutes to sew or recover something if you enjoy the fabric.
