Help near the Christmas lights....? I have to put Christmas lights on this tree out side of...

I have to put Christmas lights on this tree out side of my house...
It's nearly 10 ft? tall and roughly speaking a foot and a half around the trunk.
Not that big, pretty prevailing conditions sized tree.

First of all, how do you keep hold of the lights from sliding off the trunk? I wrapped it around the trunk, but it keep on sliding down.

Then for the branches part, I enjoy no idea how even start.

Answers:    Use a staple gun to maintain them from slipping. For the branches I have no notion you could always a moment ago have it budge around all the branches.
