It sits on a base. And it comes sour. And I knocked it bad the other day and be going to wait for it to cool. I forgot in the order of it. Now the stuff in the middle looks funny, adjectives clumped together. No cracks or leaks. Anyone know why it does this and if its still risk-free to turn on?
Answers: turn it on and let it warmness up. lava lights are a semi-solid wax inside of mineral oil or something. Things don't look pretty right when the two get mixed when both are hot, so the one and only solution is to heat it up (6 hours or so) and see if it go back to how it be.
If not, take it as a bizarre collector item, or pitch it and capture a new light
Mine does the same exact piece. Don't worry bout it. It's without a flaw fine 2 turn back on.
